Religions go way beyond rituals but we are taught to worry more about the physical - what we look like, what we wear, how we stand etc compared to the real (spiritual) - what we intend, what we think, what we feel... In Islam, Salaat said with the heart, Qurbani made with the right intent, Zakat given enthusiastically and Umrah/Hajj performed devotedly is what transforms us, elevates us and liberates us. | Umair Jaliawala
