My favorite Saturday morning cartoon of all time, ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks’, premiered on NBC 42 years ago today 🐿️🎶 The show ran for eight seasons from September 17, 1983 to December 1, 1990, serving as a follow-up to the original 1961–62 series ‘The Alvin Show’. How awesome were Saturday mornings in the 80s? 📺🥣 What was your favorite cartoon back then? Watch ‘til the end for a classic bumper you’ll probably recognize! #80s #genx #80scartoons #alvinandthechipmunks #90s #saturdaymornings #sa
