Aug 23, 2021 · Google Earth and Google maps are not the same resource. We use the map function a lot. Tried the Earth application and generally walked away from it. Being a Ludite has disadvantages. Do not believe the Google map function has elevation as I have not found that information. Our coach does well on normal grades of less than 7%.

Jul 26, 2022 · Location: SC. Posts: 81. In Trip Wizard, open your trip and click the elevation tab. Then click Show Gradient. That will show you where the steep sections are. If you zoom in your map and move your cursor along the gradient you can see a small corresponding circle on that section of the map.

Does anyone know if there is an adjustment to the elevation settings for the Nav n go system. I was recently near the ocean last week and it showed me as being 129 feet below sea level.

Sacramento to Bakersfield - I5 or US 99? - iRV2 Forums
Nov 3, 2018 · Prefer 99, not that the road is better, but because it has options such as frontage roads and lot of services. I5 does not have that many off ramps and if there is an accident traffic can back up for miles. 99 is now in pretty good condition from Sacramento to Bakersfield. All the construction is pretty well finished.

We will be traveling to Lost Dutchman State Park in mid Feb. 37 foot 5th wheel pulled by our Ram 3500 dually, coming from frigid Iowa. In past years we took I 10 from Deming NM to Tucson, having heard that it is best to avoid the elevation and twists and turns on US 70.

Feb 13, 2024 · You may get altitude sickness while camping at 7,000. Much more common at above 7,000 to 8,000 feet elevations with folks whom just traveled from near sea level. From studies at ski resorts located at around 10,000 feet approximately 40 to 50% of the guests from low altitude may feel some form of altitude sickness.

May 14, 2016 · Taking a trip from Savannah Ga to Gatlinburg Tn our route looks like highway 40 over the smokey mountains never been over the smokey mountains how does that compare to the Rocky Mountains on 70 thru Colorado.
