In the third episode of this season of “Yellowjackets,” the Wilderness is playing mind games, but so are the girls. Which is worse? The fever dreams involving talking llamas and dangerous slap bracelets? Or the back-stabbing that comes with psychological manipulation? Honestly, it’s a toss up.

That leaves about 1.94 million viewers via streaming, which is a record for any episode of Yellowjackets. The season three premiere’s streaming audience grew by 58 percent vs. the season two opener in March 2023 (which, it should be noted, was before Showtime’s direct-to-consumer streaming service was fully integrated into Paramount+).

The Season 3 premiere of “Yellowjackets” hit just over 2 million viewers across Showtime and Paramount+ over the weekend. That puts it just above the Season 2 premiere, which reached nearly 2 million in 2023.
