Rumi, who lent her voice to the track “Protector” on Act II: Cowboy Carter, has now made a rare but unforgettable appearance on stage during a performance of the song.

Beyoncé kicked off her “Cowboy Carter Tour” at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., Monday night with surprise appearances by her daughters Blue Ivy, 13, and Rumi Carter, 7. Blue joined her famous mom, 43, onstage throughout the nearly three-hour show, after having been a backup dancer on Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour in 2023.
