At about 2 p.m. Monday, a rope powering the Peak Triple chair lift detached from its cable, halting the lift mid-air, according to Pats Peak officials.
Dozens of skiers rescued from lift after it stalled at Pats Peak
Skiers were rescued from a lift at Pats Peak in Henniker after it stopped Monday afternoon. Pats Peak officials said there were around 125 people on the Peak triple chairlift when it stopped at 1:45 p.m. They said the rope that runs the lift up the mountain derailed from the cable, causing the lift to stop.
