A man has been charged after he allegedly engaged in sexual acts with a minor who “suffers from mental deficiencies” in Marion County.

The Upshur County Sheriff’s Department received a report on June 17 that Alex Alkire, 27 of Buckhannon, had pointed a gun at a child during a dispute with another person, according to a press release.
