While Luke Skywalker remains a star in the current canon, Star Wars Legends fans won't ever forget some of the character's best stories from the past.

Disneyland is set to introduce two major additions during Season of the Force in 2025: a new nighttime projection show in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and a rare character encounter that may feature Luke Skywalker. Both additions will be exclusive to Disneyland for now, but could they make their way to Walt Disney World?

The Jedi Master will soon make his West Coast debut, further shattering the setting for the Star Wars theme park universe.

The new “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga” nightly projection show in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland will debut on March 28 during the launch of the Season of the Force seasonal event. “Shadows of Memory” will be paired with the “Fire of the Rising Moons” fireworks show on select nights.

Needless to say, a lot of fans are quite happy to see Luke Skywalker finally appear as a character in Galaxy’s Edge. They were disappointed that the previous story prevented him from showing up. The land was supposed to be set following the events of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, so even having an older Luke appear was off the table.

Up until now, old school characters from the original Star Wars trilogy had been banned from Black Spire Outpost by Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm.
