Israeli airstrikes killed at least 38 Palestinians in Gaza, hospital officials told the Associated Press on Sunday, as Israel's military said it has struck over 100 targets in the embattled enclave in the past day.

The Israeli air force struck over 100 terror targets across Gaza in the past 24 hours, the IDF said Friday afternoon.The targets included rocket launchers, military buildings, and weapon storage depots.

Many women and children were killed in the strike while sleeping at home, with several still trapped under the rubble
