One woman is dead and another injured after they were attacked by dogs in San Bernardino on Thursday. San Bernardino police responded to the area near Pacific Street and Perris Hill Park Road, near a homeless encampment by East Twin Creek, at around 5 p.m. after receiving reports that a woman was being attacked by two dogs.

A woman was killed and another was injured after being mauled by dogs at a San Bernardino park on Thursday, July 31, police said. Officers responded to reports of a dog attack at Perris Hill Park around 5 p.m., Capt. Nelson Carrington of the San Bernardino Police Department said.

As officers were trying to help the woman and another person who appeared to have been attacked, a dog charged an officer.
