After a gunman struck their church, a husband couldn't find his wife and child, while a mom told her daughter to "run as fast as you can."

Police identified the gunman who was killed Sunday while attempting to shoot worshippers in a Michigan church and said his mother is a member.

Investigators responded to the CrossPointe Community Church in Wayne, Mich., on Sunday, June 22, after getting several reports that “a white male suspect wearing camouflage clothing, a tactical vest” was seen grabbing guns from his vehicle to enter the church, per Wayne police.
