Dozens take part in ‘Polar Plunge’ to benefit Special Olympics
Dozens of people took part in the “Polar Plunge” at Alameda’s Crown Beach on Saturday to benefit the Special Olympics. KRON4 Meteorologist Kyla Grogan was on-hand to take part and to emcee the festive event.
Polar Plunge community event in Granite Bay supports the Special Olympics
Dozens of people came out to Granite Bay to brave the cold waters for this year’s polar plunge. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office took the plunge to new heights by jumping out of a helicopter. The event is a fundraiser for the Special Olympics. Our own Tamara Berg was the event emcee.
