Iran and Israel are targeting each other with missiles and air strikes after Israel launched its biggest-ever air offensive against its longtime foe in a bid to prevent it developing a nuclear weapon.

Iran’s “Axis of Resistance,” the network of militias it has fostered in the Middle East to help it fight Israel, has become seriously degraded, experts say.

We spoke with Congressman Chuck Fleischmann on the military operation conducted by Israel against Iran. Representative Fleischmann has long been a staunch supporter of Israel. He argues that the threat posed by Iran’s nuclear program necessitated a preemptive strike against military targets.
