Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is demanding a Houston-area school district to cut its ties with a Muslim youth sports event because of its ties to a group which he considers a terrorist organization.

In a statement, Abbott said Texans deserve a commissioner focused on Texas agriculture and “with zero tolerance for criminality.”
