A U.S. official said Tuesday that the suspension is intended to be temporary and does not apply to applicants who already scheduled their visa interviews.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety has the largest graduating class of troopers in recent history. A total of 54 cadets graduated and will now enter field training.

Today was a celebration of the Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper graduation, welcoming 54 new state troopers to the service.

A Gilbert man who police said shot and killed a landscaper sent to work at the home he was renting has been officially charged. Wyatt Ford was indicted on one count of second-degree murder.
