The Memphis Police Department is working to figure out the events that led to a young boy showing up at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital with gunshot wounds Tuesday evening.

Federal officials said one of those in custody was a member of the Tren de Aragua gang, but his sister told NBC 7 that her brother had no criminal history in Venezuela or the US.
