Strong to severe storms will be possible across most of Alabama on Wednesday. The areas in yellow have a Level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather. Isolated severe storms will be possible in the areas in dark green. More severe storms will be possible on Saturday as well. Storm Prediction Center

The primary severe weather threat is expected from late afternoon into Wednesday night as a cold front moves into the region. Storms should quickly exit near or shortly after midnight in most areas. The Storm Prediction Center continues to post a Level 2/5 (slight) risk of severe weather for most of our area on Saturday.

Our main threats today are Flash Flooding, Damaging winds, and an Isolated Tornado risk after 2 p.m., which will continue until 8 p.m.
