A gunman who shot four people at a west Las Vegas gym, killing one and injuring three, was then shot dead by police, the Metropolitan Police Department

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at a business on the 1700 block of North Rainbow Boulevard, where they found a suspect with a firearm at around 1:34 p.m. local time on Friday, May 16, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated in a news release.

Multiple people were reportedly shot at the Las Vegas Athletic Club gym on Rainbow Boulevard in Las Vegas on Friday. According to local media reports citing police officials, the suspect was fatally shot.
