The San Jose Sharks earned an unlikely and dramatic comeback victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday. The Sharks erased a two-goal deficit in the third period, killed off a penalty in overtime, and saw Tyler Toffoli and Fabian Zetterlund both score goals in the shootout to earn a dramatic 3-2 win over the Leafs at Scotiabank Arena.

The puck then went to the front of an open Sharks net, after goalie Vitek Vanecek left his crease to play the Pinto pass. That left an open net for Tim Stützle, who 19th of the season, giving the Senators the lead for good as they handed the Sharks a 5-3 loss at Canadian Tire Centre.
