Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum is taking some flak for an interaction with a fan wearing a Caitlin Clark shirt. Ahead of the Sparks' game versus the Chicago Sky on Sunday, June 29, Plum spotted a fan wearing a Clark shirt while watching the team's shootaround.

During a break within the game, Clark stood up to argue with the referees about a call. Plum took notice and somewhat jokingly went to the same ref to argue that the 2024 Rookie of the Year was illegally stepping onto the court, with one of her shoes across the line.
