Justin Timberlake revealed this week he had Lyme disease, joining a growing list of celebrities who have gone public with their diagnoses. The singer, 44, revealed he has been "battling some health issues" and was diagnosed with the bacterial-borne illness in an Instagram post on Thursday,

Lyme disease is caused by bacteria spread through the bite of infected ticks. Symptoms include rash, fever, headache, extreme fatigue, stiffness in joints, muscle aches or weakness, according to the Mayo Clinic.
