Governor JB Pritzker signed a variety of bills, including changes to the Illinois Medicaid program, an expedited FOID card process, and the approval of the FY26 Budget.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signed the $55.2 billion budget for the state that was passed by lawmakers at the end of their spring session.

"You know it's a bad budget when it's based on nearly $1 billion in tax increases and enhancements," a Republican lawmaker said.
