Large swaths of Portugal, Spain, parts of France, and Italy experienced a massive power outage on the morning of April 28.

Spanish power grid operator Red Electrica said it was working with energy companies to restore power after large parts of Spain and Portugal were hit by a power outage on Monday.

Parts of France also appear to be affected, according to Spanish media reports, which said Seville, Barcelona and Valencia were hit by the outage. It has sparked chaos across Europe - with Flights and trains cancelle.
