The Indiana Fever were dealt an unfortunate blow Monday after finding out star Caitlin Clark suffered a left quad strain that will sideline her for at least the next two weeks. Clark has averaged 19.0 points and a league-high 9.

The Indiana Fever took on the Washington Mystics in Baltimore, Maryland, on Wednesday night. Although Caitlin Clark was in the building, she did not suit up and play. Clark was ruled out due to a left quad strain she suffered against the New York Liberty.

Brittney Sykes had 21 points, and the Mystics beat the Fever 83-77. Caitlin Clark did not play for Indiana due to a strained left quad.
