A group of Dallas-area families and faith leaders has filed a federal lawsuit seeking to block a new Texas law requiring the Ten Commandments in public school classrooms.

Texas will soon require public school classrooms to prominently display the Ten Commandments under a newly signed law announced Saturday by Governor Greg Abbott.
