The demonstration, organized by Indivisible Sonoma County, was one of dozens of protests against the airline that took place across the country.

Dozens of protesters gathered at the busy exit off Interstate 293 in Manchester on Saturday, May 31, 2025. The protesters demanded a complete boycott of Avelo Airlines due to its controversial contract with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to operate deportation flights.

Avelo Airlines provides the only scheduled commercial passenger flights out of Delaware. The governor is boycotting because of the airline's contract with ICE.
