Indiana Republican senator Jim Banks has slammed the Indiana Fever over apologetic stance towards the WNBA's racism storm engulfing Caitlin Clark and rival Angel Reese.

U.S. Sen. Jim Banks R-Ind., criticized the WNBA and Indiana Fever for not apologizing to fans after an investigation could not substantiate accusations of racial comments made toward Angel Reese.

The WNBA said it was unable to substantiate allegations of “hateful fan comments” directed toward Angel Reese during a game against the Indiana Fever. Reese had much to say amid the investigation.

In the aftermath of the WNBA game between the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky, an investigation was launched into allegations that racist language was used against Reese during the game.

“ [Reese] accused the Indiana Fever fanbase of being racist, they investigated it, and said that the accusations were false,” said Banks while speaking with Dan Dakich of OutKick.
