PHOENIX (AZFamily) —A Red Flag Warning is in effect today (starting at 11 a.m.) for southern Arizona, including the Phoenix metro area. Gusts of 30-45 mph are possible, along with very low humidity.
A Red Flag Warning is in effect for Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for southeast Arizona, including areas like Safford. Very dry conditions and gusts up to 45 mph will create a very high fire danger.
Monday will be the windiest day of the week. Thanks to another weather system tracking through Southeast Arizona, strong and gusty west winds 25-35 mph with gusts 40-45 mph east of Tucson are possible.
