Boris Spassky, the 10th World Chess Champion, has died at the age of 88 in Moscow, TASS reports In 1966, Spassky had lost to Armenian grandmaster Tigran in their match for the chess crown. Three years later, however, Spassky had beaten Petrosian become world chess champion.
