Por Cahê Mota has reported for Globo that Manchester City has rejected an offer of €70 million (£60.2 million) for Savinho. Furthermore, the Globo report states that Tottenham are set to return with an improved offer for Savinho.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly opened talks with Manchester City over a move for 21-year-old Brazilian winger Savinho. Spurs are looking to strengthen their attack after Son Heung-min’s move to LAFC and James Maddison’s long-term ACL injury which will keep him out for most of the season.

Speaking on The Athletic FC podcast, Ornstein has confirmed that Tottenham have held talks over a potential deal for Savinho, submitting an enquiry to Manchester City.
