Wesley LePatner, killed in NYC shooting at Blackstone, was a board member at UJA-Federation of NY, Heschel School, and a synagogue member.

A shooting at a Manhattan office building left five dead, including Blackstone executive Wesley LePatner and NYPD officer Didarul Islam. The shooter, Shane Tamura, who also died at the scene, had a history of mental illness and left a note blaming the NFL for his condition.

The executive was shot and killed in the lobby of the ritzy Park Avenue office tower when gunman Shane Tamura opened fire.
