US stock futures traded flat as investors braced for the Federal Reserve's next interest rate decision and earnings from tech giants Microsoft and Meta.

Stock index futures rose on Tuesday, as investors turned their focus to a big week for earnings and labor reports. S&P 500 futures (SPX) +0.3%, Nasdaq 100 futures (US100:IND) +0.5%, and Dow futures (INDU) +0.

Dow Jones futures rose slightly overnight, along with S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq futures. Investors face a huge amount of news in the coming session, including the Q2 GDP data before the open, the Federal Reserve meeting decision Wednesday afternoon as well as MicrosoftMSFT and Meta PlatformsMETA earnings after the close.

Federal funds futures prices are discounting the chances at 21% for a -25 bp rate cut at the July 29-30 FOMC meeting. Overseas stock markets today are mixed. The Euro Stoxx 50 is up +1.10%.
