Multiple blasts were heard in Jammu city in Indian Kashmir for the second day on Friday, and projectiles seen in the night sky after a blackout, two Reuters witnesses said.

Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Firday took to social media to report alarming developments amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. In a series of posts on X, Abdullah said he could hear intermittent sounds of explosions,

The explosion comes a day after India carried out strikes on nine terror camps within Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
