Oasis are finally returning to their hometown to perform together for the first time since 2009, but as they take to the stage at Heaton Park, fans need to prepare for very hot weather

Oasis fans are all saying the same thing after Liam and Noel Gallagher took to the stage of the first of five Heaton Park gigs. Taking the stage at 8:15pm as expected, the brothers were met with thunderous applause and cheers in their home city.

As Liam, Noel, Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker walked onto the stage, Liam yelled: "Oasis Vibes in the Area” to huge cheers before adding: “Manchester Vibes in the Area.”
