HBO has announced the three actors who will take on the iconic roles of Harry, Ron and Hermione in the new "Harry Potter" TV series.

In April, HBO announced that John Lithgow, Janet McTeer, Paapa Essiedu, and Nick Frost would join the main cast as Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall, Severus Snape, and Rubeus Hagrid, respectively. They also confirmed two guest roles: Luke Thallon as Quirinus Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch.

Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton and Alastair Stout will head to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the next adaption of the smash-hit series.
