A man died, a firefighter and two others were injured, and 19 people were displaced when a multi-family Hartford home burned to the ground over the weekend.

An adult and a child were hospitalized with no updates on their current condition. A firefighter suffered minor injuries but was released.

HARTFORD, CT. (WFSB) - A man has died following a multi-family house fire in Hartford on Saturday afternoon. Officials say that the blaze broke out at around 1:48 p.m. in the area of Fenwick Street. When crews arrived, they observed a heavy fire from the rear porches that extended to the third floor and to another building.

The department responded to a home on Crystal Place, and helped to evacuate two people living there along with their dog.
