Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, the Department of Justice’s second-highest official, has issued a new statement regarding his meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell. Blanche also indicated that he will meet with Maxwell for a second consecutive day.

A lawyer for Maxwell confirmed on Tuesday there were discussions with the government and said Maxwell “will always testify truthfully.”
