A 77-year-old Vermont man died on the I-95 in Florida after being struck during an attempted turtle rescue. Three others were uninjured in the chain-reaction crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol announced that the elderly man was on the highway to try to save a turtle when he was hit by a motorist.
