Emma Raducanu was soundly beaten in the last 16 of the Italian Open by Coco Gauff, going down 6-1, 6-2. Gauff, the world No 3, lived up to her status as favourite with a dominant display against the British No 2.

Emma Raducanu exited the Italian Open on Monday afternoon after she was convincingly beaten and outclassed by Coco Gauff, winning three games in a match which lasted just 79 minutes.
