Former AEW TNT Champion Scorpio Sky remembered WWE legend Hulk Hogan on his passing, while also sharing a moment involving Cody Rhodes. Sky shared a throwback clip on social media.

Cody Rhodes pays tribute to one of WWE's largest Superstars and wants to fight the authentic version of another.

With the tribute to Hulk Hogan, Smackdown was the top rated show on television Friday with 1.71 million viewers and an 0.48 in 18-49. The No. 2 show in the time slot on cable was Watters on FOX News which did 2.75 million viewers and an 0.11. The top rated network show was a repeat of Celebrity Jeopady! which did 2.29 million viewers and 0.28.

SmackDown paid tribute to the late Hulk Hogan with a heartfelt ceremony and video montage. The show then transitioned to SummerSlam hype, featuring Logan Paul, Randy Orton, and a brawl. Plus, Cody Rhodes challenged John Cena to bring his best.

Hulk Hogan and John Cena were among the most beloved babyfaces at the time they turned heel in their respective careers. While the WWE Hall of Famer did so in 1996 by joining nWo, the 17-time World Champion turned to the dark side earlier this year at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event by attacking Cody Rhodes.

Hulk Hogan was billed as “The Immortal One” and the former WWE champion seemed to believe it as he bellowed in his red-and-yellow attire throughout sold-out arenas around the world in the 1980s and into this century that Hulkamania would live forever.

Hulk Hogan's heel turn at Bash at the Beach in 1996 revitalized his career, jump-started WCW and transformed the business of professional wrestling moving forward.
