Former White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle appeared as the team unveiled a statue of the left-hander on the outfield concourse during a pregame ceremony at Rate Field on July 11, 2025. Former players

Buehrle, 46, played for Chicago for the first 12 of his 16 seasons in the majors. Known for working quickly with pinpoint control, he went 161-119 with a 3.83 ERA in 390 appearances with the White Sox, including 365 starts. He had his number retired by the team in 2017.

After the death of former closer Bobby Jenks, the Chicago White Sox will honor him on their home field for the rest of the season.
