A military aircraft crash-landed in southeast Oklahoma City, causing a grass fire and power outages, but the crew walked away uninjured.

LAFAYETTE PARISH — Investigators on Tuesday evening released the names of the three victims killed in a plane crash near Gloria Switch Road and La. Highway 93. The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office identified the victims as Bruce Verduyn, 58 of The Woodlands, Texas; Lydia Laws, 46, of Spring, Texas; and Justin Ramsey, 42, of The Woodlands, Texas.

Authorities are investigating after a small plane went down near Gloria Switch Road on Tuesday morning, Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office reports.

Three people are dead after the plane they were in crashed near Shellharbour Airport in Australia on Saturday, Oct. 11, said the New South Wales Police in a news release. Fire and Rescue NSW Inspector Andrew Barber told local news outlets that 'there was no chance of surviving that kind of impact.

The plane crashed in the woods during a nor'easter, with the fuselage landing and catching fire in the highway median.

Officials are still determining what caused a small aircraft to crash yesterday evening shortly into its flight.
