By Rory Carroll May 2 (Reuters) - Golden Tempo stormed from the very back of the pack to triumph in the 152nd Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs on Saturday, giving trainer Cherie DeVaux a landmark victory as the first woman to saddle the winner of America's most famous horse race.

Thankfully the horse and jockey were not injured.

The 2026 Preakness — the 151st edition of the race — will take place May 16 at Laurel Park in Laurel, Md., a move away from the race’s traditional home at Pimlico in Baltimore.
