Mother Nature has a way of evening things out, and as I write this, the forecast shows lots of snow mid-week here in the area.

It's late October and we're out at Lake Erie on Point Abino fishing for perch. It's a great time of year for perch fishing. Today we're using live minnows and we're running the T-Turn Bait Rig (1A).

The walleye/pike/bass season is now closed until the fishing opener on May 9 and fish houses here in the northern third of the state have to be off the ice by midnight on March 16.
