Doomsday has become a viral sensation, garnering millions of views within its first four hours online despite the leak.

In December 2024, it emerged that Doomsday was bringing back another Marvel star in the form of Evans. Leaked images from one of the movie's many sets, which circulated online earlier this year, added further fuel to rumors that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) superstar would be back, too.
