Cutler was arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanor DUI, gun possession while under the influence, violation of implied consent law and failure to exercise due care.

The La Mesa Police Department is mourning the loss of Officer Lauren Craven, 25, who died Monday night while helping others. The California Highway Patrol said Thursday the driver who hit and killed Craven was suspected to have been under the influence while he was driving.
