Air quality alert issued for Burlington County
An air quality alert was issued by the National Weather Service in Mount Holly at 9:58 a.m. on Monday, May 18.
Expect temperatures in the 90s on Monday as the first heat wave of the season settles in across the region.
Similar to this past weekend, we have another hot and summer-like forecast on tap today with high-pressure holding strong overhead. High temperatures are expected to climb to the lower 90s this afternoon under a mostly sunny sky.
At 9:37 a.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service reported an air quality alert in effect until 9:45 p.m. for Sullivan County.
An Air Quality Alert is in effect for Hampden and Hampshire counties until 11 p.m. on Monday. Monday will be another partly to mostly sunny and very warm day with highs getting up into the upper 80s to around 90 degrees.
