Multiple earthquakes rattled parts of San Bernardino and Riverside counties Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. An initial 3.0-magnitude quake struck the area near Rialto around 8:34 a.m. and was followed by a 2.8-magnitude quake and several aftershocks.

A series of earthquakes struck San Bernardino County Thursday, with the strongest south of Cal State San Bernardino.

A new wildfire was reported today at 5:53 p.m. in San Bernardino County, California. Telephone Fire has been burning on private land. At this time, the containment status is unknown and the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
