Yes! Ahead of the second half of season 4, according to a press release, Netflix renewed Outer Banks for a fifth and final season. (The release also reveals that the season 4 finale is "feature length," kind of like those last couple seasons of Stranger Things, so buckle up.)

According to Netflix, writing for the final season is currently underway. More season 5 details and additional information will be shared at a later date.
