The top three in the lineup — Lindor, Nimmo and Soto — combined to drive in nine of the runs. The Mets, who moved into a tie with the Phillies atop the NL East, had scored only 16 runs during the losing streak.

Lindor pounced on a Mick Abel offering and hit it 406 feet to break out of his funk. Brandon Nimmo followed with his second homer of the game and Juan Soto made it back-to-back-to-back when he hit one into the right-field stands.

Matt Olson hit a three-run double, Spencer Strider struck out eight in six innings and the Atlanta Braves beat the Mets 7-1 to complete a series sweep that extended New York’s season-worst losing streak to six games.
